One Year Anniversary of Internship Experience

Today officially marks my one-year anniversary of my Internship “Adventure”. Throughout the past year, I had the opportunity to delve into various companies and industries and rotate across different functions. It was not easy juggling between internship, school, and other commitments. However, I think the mindset of wanting to learn more (Beyond Academics) played huge role during this time. Looking back, the lessons learnt and skillsets attained are truly invaluable.

It is impossible to sum up all the learning pointers in this one LinkedIn Post but some more striking lessons are:

1) How to critically analyse data to produce valuable insights

2) The importance of collaboration in a team and how to strive towards a collective goal and vision

3) How to position products and the use of Marketing Channels to increase engagements with customers and consumers

4) Project Management skills which include KPI setting, check-ins and stakeholder engagements

5) Always needing to get out of one’s comfort zone to grow as an Individual

Excited to continue this journey of learning as I venture into other opportunities in the coming years.
